Alex Cook

Originally from North Texas, Alex is a Madison based performer and teacher. Having just completed his Master’s degree in Vocal Performance at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Alex is excited to continue getting involved with the Madison arts community.

This year, Alex will be joining the cast of Opera for the Young as The Sea King in Rusalka. He is looking forward to working with young artists and hopes to inspire the love of the arts in singers of all ages. Although Alex primarily performs opera roles, he also enjoys exploring musical theater and contemporary music in his private studio. His strengths lie in establishing strong, fundamental vocal techniques, and he works with beginner, intermiediate, and advanced students.

Alex particularly enjoys working with young and aspiring singers looking to pick up a new hobby or build on their vocal foundations. Whether you’re hoping to nail an audition or smash it at karaoke night, Alex would love to work with you!
